Since you already have a 4-way installed on your 2022 Subaru Outback, there is only one other part you will need to use the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller # C51180:
- Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7
You'll plug your 4-way into the 7-way that comes with the # ETBC7, which also gives you the wiring, circuit breakers, and rest of the hardware needed for installation. view full answer...
Thanks for reaching out, Michael!
It looks like historically Subaru uses a brown wire (sometimes with another color stripe) for the cold side of the brake light switch, so it sounds like you've got a good start for your 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon.
With that being said, I'm not seeing anywhere where this has been confirmed for your 2022 model year so I recommend using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 so you can make sure that wire only gets hot when the brake pedal is pressed. If this... view full answer...
If you already have a 4-Way # C56040 on your 2012 Subaru Outback then all you will need is the 7-Way # ETBC7L and Curt Echo # C51180 you found for your 2012 Subaru Outback. view full answer...
Hey Beth, glad you like your Rhino Rack roof rack! Good news, you don't need anything else to use the Sunseeker awning part # RR32132 as it was designed to attach directly to the top channel of your current bars. view full answer...
Hey Steve, thanks for reaching out!
The No-Drill Mount # 18140 is only necessary if you don't already have a way or place to attach the mounting bracket that comes with the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L, otherwise the bracket and 4-Way/7-Way socket will just be dangling at the back of your 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon. view full answer...
That sounds pretty sketchy. Never heard of a conversion kit with bolts that will make a hitch fit a car it's not designed for.
The hitch you were looking at Item # 306-X7267 only fits the 2015 - 2018 Subaru Outback so using different sized bolts isn't going to help when the holes don't line up. If this isn't what you have and would like to send me a part number so I can verify it'll fit you can either email me directly or post it in the comment box below.

Hey Erik, thanks for reaching out!
We can definitely get you to the # ETBC7 kit building off of your Curt Trailer Connector Adapter # C57672. What you need is the Wiring Kit # 5506 which has everything else in it aside from the circuit tester. If you don't already have a circuit tester then we have part # PTW2993 that works really well.
These parts will work really well with the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR or Liberty # RED24FR for your 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon! view full answer...
